It doesn't appear that the GV-Compact has Email Alert functions. It doesn't make sense that the GV-Video does, but the GV-Compact does not. Has anyone else ran across this problem???

Hello... i am running a GV-600 4 port. When I have the network cable plugged into the ethernet port on the motherboard, the Geovision software runs great. When the network cable is unplugged, the program stalls out, my cameras go in and out, basically it doesn't work. I am running v8.12 software. I can't seem to find the setting which tells it not to try and connect to the network, or whatever it may be doing. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks a bunch!
