  1. Hey, I recently found a CCTV system from the 90s on the streets which suprisingly works. To be specific: it's a Hitron HVM 2923 video monitor (this one: https://www.plc-warehouse.com/pub/media/catalog/product/cache/b2aeaa8c1921916b500e5f96c9d7aaed/1/9/198365_1468413119000_3.jpg ) & a MTC camera connected to the monitor via ethernet cable. I played around with it and it's quite fun but it would be nice to record the video material from it. Tho i could not really find out how that works. On the back of the monitor there is a connection labeled VCR which is also an ethernet connection. As far as i know, Video Cassette Recorders do not have an ethernet input tho. How could i possibly get the video material sent to a recording device from the monitor? Does anyone of you maybe know how that could work? Would be great if i would just need to buy some sort of adapter to hook it up to a video recorder or in the best case to my laptop. I hope my question is not too dump with a super obvious solution to it... & Thanks in advance for any advice!!
