Hi Everyone. I am new here. I have a Floureon CCTV 8 channel dvr. The cameras are visible on the monitor and work well. I am trying to replace the hard drive. When I plug the SATA cable into the new hard drive, the signal is lost to the monitor. The old hard drive does this as well. I am questioning whether the hard drives are both bad or if it has something to do with the DVR itself. I checked the SATA cable and it looks to be in great shape with no apparent defects. Please assist me with suggestions. Thank you.
