We have a DVR in a storage room that is approx 4 x 10. The room gets very hot during the summer, no air conditioning. The DVR has been placed in a lockbox with an internal fan. Does anyone think there could be a problem with the heat?

Is it possible to add an IP PTZ to an existing system? The existing system is a 4 camera max plex dvr connected with coax cable. It is accesible via the internet. Any comments would help.

Sorry if this has been answered before. I am looking for the best Standalone DVR and cameras dollar for dollar. Don't want to break the bank but am looking for quality. Cameras need to be auto iris, varifocal day and night. Suggestions would be appreciated. Again, not looking for expensive but also not cheap. Looking for quality.

Hello, I am looking for a quality Standalone dvr with a good price point that allows for auto configure of the dynamic ip. I do not want to reconfigure the ip on the systems to view over the internet whenever it is restarted. Can some one give me some brands.
