I bought a Truvision DVR from a local thrift store, I was trying to swap a 1TB WD Purple Hard Drive with a 512GB Seagate drive. When I try to bang the front panel to put it back, it triggers an alarm, can anyone figure out a solution to this problem?

I was trying to access the terminal of this device.

Anyway, does the firmware get locked when the alarm is triggered?
