Good shout for the enclosed box. I think I'll buy an adaptable box and put a 5amp regulated psu in it with a 5 way 2.1mm splitter.This way I'm sure each camera is going to get 1 amp. This way only needs 1 outlet,thats what I'm trying to free up. Thanks.

Hi all! I have 5 infared cameras using 5 1.2a seperate psu's. I'd like to tidy the installation up by fitting a single (LOCKABLE) boxed psu. Most box psu's I've seen are .5amp output,is it a simple case of doubling up on the outputs to give 1 amp, or is it , ie, a 6amp psu will give 6amps across the 9 outlets so totalling 5 amps draw with my camera's connected?
