motofox replied to motofox's topic in DVR Cards and Software - PC Based Systems
surly somone has had experience with a picolo pro 2 pci capture card, i just want to know if it captures 700x500 at 25fps, full frame capture in other words at 25fps -
Hi, im using i-catcher software on a quadcore pc with a picolo pro 2 capture device, i read on eursys website who makes the card that it can grab full frame at 25fps for one camera. My problem is i can only get 13fps at full frame 700x400 d1 resolution, i have to go half frame to get 25fps. am i reading there specs on there site wrong? I have the latest muticam drivers loaded. any info for a noob would be great thanks martin.

help with a new camera and software glitch
motofox posted a topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
Hi, iv installed a new ip dome camera that i got new off ebay, the only model number it shows is NVS-355-V01 . It works great but has a very anoying problem; when zoomed in, the camera software does not compensate and slow the movment rate, so when i try to move a little, the camera jumps a lot as if it was still unzoomed. The manual speed slider has no effect on this too. The remote software is called NVSSERVER and it and the firmware appear to be upto date as far as i can tell. Any help fixing this or if anyone knows of a newer firmware to fix it would be great. -

motofox posted a topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
Hi, im looking for some third party object tracking software for use with a speeddome ptz, the dvr software is the new version of pico2000. Iv tried a demo of ptz controller 2.6 and its great software but i need object tracking software, so if anyone knows where i could find a demo to download or somthing, that would be great. thanks. -
thanks for all the help on here, obviously unless im buying expensive professional kit no one is interested here - thanks to other forums i have my answers.

Hi, thanks for the reply.. dont laugh but il be trying to use the latest version of pico2000 software, its been installed for years and does the job. it has built in pzt in pico2000 but not many protocols, i think i saw pelco p or somthing like that, so hopfully that should work. can you recomend some software to control it ? ideally remotly over internet. oh and the i/o board only has connections for sensormatica and rs422, will that cause problems ? thanks again.

Hi im pretty new to the site so sorry for the noobness. I have a oldish camera called a sensornet speeddome think its VIII, iv sourced a decent psu and got it powered up and got video to my pc. id love to get the pzt working so need some direction with the wires. what is best way to comunicate to com1 on my pc ?? cam supports manchester, pelco P,vicon, sensornet and coaxitron. Im thinking of buying a rs422-rs232 converter for my pc so if somone knows the pinouts to that or the camera that would be great ! i dont get the rx+ rx- tx+ tx- bit yet but im sure il get there. also, would sending commands from hyperterminal in windows work ?? i have a cheap and nasty pico2000 card and software i might try to control it but will be looking for the geovision in time. im sure somone must have done this and its probably been posted a million times but iv spent hours looking. thanks in advance. plz help

Hi, iv just recieved a sensormatic speeddome camera model RAS915LS-1 the camera unit is complete with I/O board, but the wires where chopped. it has a bnc type cable that il assume is for video signal - a 2 core cable with black and red wires ?? and a 6 core cable that looks like a network cable. any help identifying these would be awsome as i would just like to wire it up to get a picture first. I really need to know which is definatly the power wires - it says 20 - 30vac so does this mean it requires ac voltage ? i know these things have controllers with little joysticks ect, but i jsut wanna get it powered up and get a picture so i can use it on my computers dvr card. any help and advise greatly apprietiated.

magic radar 16ch driver
motofox replied to motofox's topic in DVR Cards and Software - PC Based Systems
Why carnt you give me software, its a driver, millions of companys post there drivers on the net for free, shareware or whatever. I`m sorry if you find my attitude out of line, but we are not the ones cloning the cards and making money, we are the ones getting ripped off with clone cards and then getting peanalised for it. I payed good money for my card from ebay for what i thought was a new legit item, and now find everyone does not want to help.. well guess what, taking it out on us, is having no impact on the guys cloning the cards by the billions everyday. -
