  1. HELL NO I'M NOT SELLING GEOCRAP!!!! Certain member on this forum is investing a very very considerable amount of money on his new product, yes a DVR card, and not, nothing to do with GEO or I-VIEW or Video Insigt. All I know is that it;s going to be a company that would hear everything that us as customers want, and they will deliver, plus they'll have a much more COMPETITIVE pricing that the others. Few months people, Few months. I suggest, in all honesty, that if you are going in the market to get a DVR card, or PC Based, give it till the end of the summer so that you can see what we are going to be releasing. And yes, as of the way things are right now, I will be a Direct Distributor of the product. Stay Tuned!!!

    BOSCH.. Need Urgent Feedback!!!!!

Very good products DV, but no one wants to pay the premium for the BOSCH name.
  3. Well, to be honest. I have an announcement to make, I have decided to drop I-VIEW because of a communications breakdown. I am now waiting for the great product that our colleague Scott is developing. Will await and see.

    Panasonic WV-CP480

they work really good with moonlight and street lamp lights. next month, when the internet get's hooked up at this location, I'll open a couple of cams for demo so that you can see the difference.
  8. if it's 24 volt, run double pair, and I have made it, with cheap OEM balums, to 1167 feet. 12Volt, I have no idea. I don't like using it. I just have a firm believe that while more power to the camera, better quality image I will get.
  9. ok "testers' Do any of you remember SATAN?? I heard that he got a Federl Indicment here for Theft of services in the first degree. Class B Felony, I believe 15-25 years time. Anyone knows if true?

    Cable Molesting

Abosulutely EMT(metal) pipe. I always use metal when I'm doing an exterior job, no matter how short the run is, you just never know.

    Cmos cameras

And hopefully at more affordable prices, so we can make better sales, and we can make better margins!
  12. I use the Ipaq 6315, which is a PDA and Phone. It sells under the T-Mobile carrier, and it's $500.00 I get OK speed, around 3FPS total, only drawback is that I had to add the internet option to my plan, which is $20 a month, but I can browse the internet like I'm in a regular computer. It's simple to use the I-VIEW software, but right now, I'm waiting for the new DVR system that VUESTAR is creating, supposed to be launched in August.

    Toshiba Surveillix vs. Clinton ce-dvr080

I Played with a Toshiba Surveillix a couple of times at a distributor. Can tell you that the unit is very powerful and the software is top notch. But the image quality is not that great. The search feature is one of the best I've seen, it has both disk map and time, event, and intelligent search. Didn't try the remote stuff, but I was told that it is impressive. I just don't like the picture quality, which basically means everything in a DVR.

    Cmos cameras

CMOS is a fairly new technology compared to everything else out there. The thing is that just like a CCD camera, it's all in the circuitry that is behind the sensor. The good thing about Cmos is the low power that it requires to operate, so that's why you see 9Volt cameras poping all over ebay.

    Cmos cameras

Well, you guys need to understand that where we comes from, even $100 american dollars for a decent camera takes a month's salary from many people, so even the cheapest, crappies stuff is really the main choice we have.

GEO 6.1 SOFTWARE WORKING WITHOUT S1 CHIP

would it work in any other card other than geo? Maybe a OEM card that has no software?
  18. Well, it takes fabrication, I actually made a Wood stand for it, by using a 1 by 4, and cuting it to a measurement that would basically give me a wood piece where I can attach the P.O.S. plastic stand that they comes with. I wish I could take a pic, but they are installed already.
  19. I actually take the glass off, but if you position it right, then it will be OK.

    Funny story

Doing a job at a very bad bulding over here in town, 16 cameras, 14 of them, a little high, in exterior housings, and 2 of them ARMOR DOME. Well, last friday the wiring and camera installation was done, so the DVR was coming in today, but on sunday, I went to the jobsite, and I saw something that in all honestly, made me laugh!!! Someone ripped the 2 armor domes and stole them, mind you that they where installed into BRICK, with 1' 1/2" Screws. But that's not all, they where so messed up, that they even broke down the metal EMT piping that was protecting the line!!! So anyhow, they where Wizkid Armor Domes, WZ35 series, so you know how much of a loss we took there. Funny thing is that the cameras are useless to sell, cause the morons not only took the cameras, but ripped the power and bnc connectors from the camera's board!!! Anyhow, putting two new ones tomorrow, and I think that we'll solder this ones instead.
