Hey DV, is you want a I-VIEW DEMO, let me know, I'm their distributor. -
I-VIEW has a ez server built it, it's basically a mini pc anywhere where you can take control of the whole PC.
-
Man, forget provideo, buy from me, I'm in CT, send me an e-mail and I'll set you up with price list and options.
-
Yes, and it's pretty good for a network camera, but damm pricey as hell, around 1000.00 without lens.

PTZ Cameras - what do you think of this site?
qman replied to Security Solutions's topic in Security Cameras
Don't go near them. There is a member that got screwed by them, also, that PTZ controller is made by I-VIEW, and I can guarantee, that's not NEAR what dealer cost is. -
Hey Security, do you know a company called "Intellicam"? They are in your area.

Recommended low-mid end DVR for restaurant
qman replied to ziggy221's topic in Digital Video Recorders
At that price range you need to be looking at PC based DVR'S. The I-VIEW line is your best solution, as the other competitor, GEO, will probably make the system go over 2500+. I-VIEW is a great dvr system that I am now distributing, I got tired of all the support calls about the geo line of dvr cards, because their software looked like it was put together by a high school kid on a science project. One good featue about i-view, is that it has point of sale integration, via the TCP/IP network, which is cost effective since you don't have to purchase any type of extra hardware to make it run. send me an email at: hermin@shscomputers.com telling me exactly what you need. -

Got this cam today to test, pretty good Day Night Camera, still have to deep test it during the day, but the IR cut filter is a really nice feature that has, with it's low .001LUX rating, I can honestly say that it works BEAUTIFLY in really low and virtually no light conditions. A little inexpensive considering the features that it has, compared to other manufacturers with similar features; 480TV lines, 1/3" Sony Exview CCD, built in motion detector, plus, it has a remote connector, that aparently you can connect to an input on the alarm panel and it will trigger it. I'll post some pics when I have hooked this up to a DVR. Found this interesting article about it in a UK security website: http://www.security-installer.co.uk/story.asp?storyType=166§ioncode=50&storyCode=1023373

If the owner's are confortble with PC BASED DVR's, then take a look at the I-VIEW series of DVR cards, very stable, great remote and server image quality, very user friendly, and most importantly, very affordable compared to Garbage systems like Geovision, who has great hardware, but really childish software. Do a search on the forum, and for cameras, there are different scenarios that you can get, you need to set yourself a budget for equipment so that we can tell you what to look at.
