Electrical License Requirement in New Jersey
qman replied to Jimlyn's topic in General Digital Discussion
for CCTV, you don't need a licence, but you do for alarms, and any other low voltage job, you need a low-voltage licence, it's called "L6 licence". I'll get more info posted soon. -
Foster's, good beer!!! Actually, I have realized that the only way to make any money these days is to work on your own, no one is going to pay top dollar for our knowledge anymore.

Well, their pepper spray cans are used by most police departments in the east coast, and I can tell you that their CCTV website is an OsCommerce software, free. So if they have free software for their website, then what can I say about their products?
-
ahh, it's made by the "intellicam jackasses" is a nice thing for one camera, but what happens when the client wants more than one? ahh, there is the tricky part.
-
ahh, funny, BENFIELD, I used to work there, they are a mid-size ELECTRICAL supply house, gotta call them to see what the hell are they doing selling DVR'S.
-
The DVR that we sell offers a 5 year warranty, and free tech support during that time, we are still updating the website, so many of our cameras are not in there. by the way, why recommend spytown so much? I compete directly with them. Yes, very true they have more products than us, but we are not done yet.
-
They do look very interesting, but I would'nt use them, imagine that the screen itself goes bad? what happens? It's a 'all in one" package, which I don't trust.
-
Man, you where in a baad mood oh, by they way, you should tell your secretary to not drink on the job!!
-
End-user pricing is a about 10-20% less than geo, dealer pricing is also less than most, but they do have great support. I just haven't had a problem yet to say how good the company reacts to resolve any issue, but that's a good thing.

I was just wondering if anyone here have used these cards, other than me. http://www.i-view.com.tw/dvrboard.htm

Honeywell makes one, very, very nice unit, pricey, at 239.99 per station, up to 16 stations together, I'll see If I can get the model number from ADI tomorrow.
