Hi, I have dvr avtech kpd 674. I've already set motion detection and sent me the email that motion detection, successfully. But i want to set it ,only detect at night. I have already set in the menu Schedule Setting>detection timer and set it only night hour. But this dvr kpd 674 keep detect a motion and sent email, even not at night. Please help me a right setting for this function. I have upgrade my dvr into 1039 firmware. Thanks.

Maybe dvr avtech don't have feature triggering detection by time. Is there any other DVR brand for this feature?

Hi, I have dvr avtech 4ch kpd674 za and 8chn kpd 677. I've already set detection alert by email. But is there any setting that alert detection only at night(by time). I've already try detection timer schedulle, but it won't work. it keeps sent me email alert. It seems that detection timer schedulle is for recording only. not for detection activated or not activated. Any suggestion? Thanks.

as Scorpion says, maybe it is a permissions issue. Log in not as administrator account.

For the input. I have run video viewer on my computer windows 7. and it runs no problem.

yeah, my kpd 674 is having the same issue>. it seems that in the manual book "schedulle setting>Detection timer" is for to trigger the recording. No matter what i set the hour, it allways trigger the motion. But it controls the recording.

I got the same problem too. Only channel 1. I got it work only on blackberry>

did you already tried ping your dvr ip address with your computer. in your computer, goto run command. type cmd, enter. it pop up a window dos command in that window, type 'ping (your dvr ip address) if it reply, it means your dvr is already connected.

I have DVR Avtech AV777M. But now its all keypad is not responding. I've already hardware reset by connecting JP1, sys-reset and plug in the power about 10 second. Still won't works. menu+enter too cannot resolve the problem. Sometimes it works after i press the tuts after 1 or 2 minutes but seldom not respond at all. Could anybody help me please......
