PTZ not working on Video Insight Program

We have a Video Insight VJ240 system with 3 cameras running. Earlier this week our PTZ function stopped working. This happened once before and we found that the Point Of Sale feature had gotten turned on. We checked that and it is not turned on. We operate the cams directly from the PC, the web function has never been enabled. Any suggestions about what to check next will be appreciated. Thanks, Larry
