This worked like a champ for me.

I put in two 500BG drives.
One thing that may make it a bit easier is the hard drives can be formated in your PC format as FAT32. Then you can do the copying.

I ordered a Nuvico CB-SD3895N-L and received a CB SD21N-L instead.
Should I be concerned?
Looking at the specs it looks comparable. Perhaps this is the new replacement. Seems like a nice camera.
Thanks,

Can anyone recommend a good outdoor bullet type camera without integrated IR LEDs in the $200-$300 range?
I've got my eye on extreme CCTV EX27, but they are a little pricey. Are they worth it?
Thanks,
Tim
Just wanted to update everyone. Disabling the IR LEDs on the Nuvico CB-SD21N-L was very easy. With the camera cover off, follow the heavier guage 4 wire bundle from the LED board (near photo sensor) to it's connector and unplug it.
I am assuming this will disable any kind of day/night switchover. I did not look close but I suspect the sensor is on the yellow/white leads and the LED power is on the red/black. For those a bit more daring you could try snipping the red lead to see if the sensor still allowed the night time B/W mode. I may put a little switch on the LED power line.

Just got my first IR camera the other day. Seems like insects are attracted to the IR LEDs. I've got a Ded Micros DS2A. I've got the sensitivity on very low. I got a ton of activity triggers last night from insects. Is there anything I can do about this?
The camera is the Nuvico CB-SD21N-L. I may have enough light to run without the LEDs (perhaps a motion activated security light). In that case can the LEDs be turned off by forcing "color" mode?
Thanks,
Tim
Anybody successfully cloned the master drive on an older DMS2?
I've got a DS2 v3.1 (DVTU) with a 160 GB Maxtor drive. Based on the tank like construction of this thing I am guessing the drive is the weak link so I'd like to make a backup.
I've already added a slave drive. I just formatted it Fat32 in my PC and plugged it into the DMS2.
This box can go up to 1Tbyte.
Thanks,
Tim
