That be right, GEO say on the CD it be the best or better digital surveillance system. Now why would they lie? aLLYaLLViSioN is good as well.

BuBBaViSioN is the best.

I picked up a brand new Panasonic WV-CM1780 a while back. They are not as good? Or is it the CK* that is not as good?
-
All my current pics/vids are at http://216.185.66.23/images/cctv/ We use a Panasonic WV-CP474 w/Panasonic WV-LZA61/2 Lens. The cam is in color mode 24/7. At night, a small nearby sodium light and street lights are the only light sources.

v7.07 is already out. They have more releases than Cisco IOS.

Anyone have any pics/vids of this dome cam? day/night/outside, etc. In particular, I would like to see what kind of quality at night. I want to add a cam under my eave out front eventually. I might go with a bullet housing (w/heater/blower) and a boxed cam inside. I don't want it to be too obvious it is a cam. I prefer the 474 dome, only cuz I have a 474 boxed one to use and they seem decent so far. Thx.

Anyone heard of this company/DVR? Seems kinda cheap. Just wonderin. http://cgi.ebay.ca/DiSS-NetMaster-500Mhz-Windows-98-128MB-Digital-Recorder_W0QQitemZ5829117439QQcategoryZ48634QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Well we just had a rare November tornado in Hamilton yesterday around 4pm EST. Apparently a small F1, only a few injuries (a few kids unfortnuately), lots o trees down, some roofs off including a school. Strange, cuz one... I don't recall one ever in this city at all, and two... it's November! It is only 5c today! Snow is only around the corner in this area.

In particular, the Pan WV-CP474 vs the WV-CW474AS dome. Which should have better quality at night? The boxed since the cover is not smoked like the dome? The boxed is 480 TVL and dome is 510 in color apparently. Also, how reliable is IP66? Can you just stick the dome outside all year round w/o too many worries, or is a separate housing and/or heater/blower best? Thx.
-
Are there any bullet cams with quality close the Pan 484? I am in the same boat. I want the cam outside the front of our house to appear to possibly just be a light fixture, but excellent quality. A bullet with no housing markings might do the trick, since they are not as obvious as say a Pelco EH3512 housing and similar styles. Thx.

It says the WV-CW474AS is weatherproof IP66 HERE though... under the Brochure/Spec Sheet The 474 may be no more, but I still find it a very decent cam. I would prefer the 484 though (actually the 924A even more). I have a NIB 474AS dome... perhaps I can find someone with a 484 and do a swap. or just sell this one and get a 484.

Off topic, but interesting you mention forklifts... a forklift operator was just killed down the street today by one. It fell over on him as he was working outside and tried to get out of the way.
