I thought the Auto Back Focus feature on these CP484 cams would compensate for quite a bit of adjusting? I imagine images will always look clearer though connected directly to a CCTV monitor though bypassing the DVR.

no room in london for parking lots .. i remember back when i was in london in the early 90's cathing the tube into the city and the train being stopped between stations due to bomb scares alot, IRA or Iraq War related at the time as that was the first gulf war .. the hotel used to have us search the place for bombs!! Well yah know i was 19 and ready to go .. Hope everyone is okay from this forum, and condolences to the victims and families ... im sure the british will track the bastids down! I be talking bout making ice rinks n such of terrorist sponsored countries. I mean the US, UK, etc. have pissed off so many of these terrorists... the only option is to eliminate them once and for all. It will never end otherwise it seems. -

I would give them about a dolla. 16 cams @ 60fps and prob most if not all channels CIF. No thanks. Not for what March sells them for new. The 4410 would be nice though since it be 240fps. Prob cost an arm and a ding dong though.

rsync/ssh is what we use, but that Linux. I guess an FTP program like WS_FTP Pro would work. Of course... I have never heard of FOSI nor do I know how to kickyou.to their site -
Anyone use this card below? I see it supports recording higher than 640x480. http://www.i-viewusa.com/dvrboard.htm#CP-1600RD%20Deluxe

Does anyone like or dislike Panasonic and why?

Agreed. I had a hard time when I first setup even our WV-CP474 at work because of the camera menu options and I also had zero experience as an end-user. Once I used the 474 I was hooked I guess. I look forward to a WV-CP484 and using it at home. 920 would be nice as well. Hopefully, I never have to call Pan tech support though. Just like Dell... I pray I never have to call them either if I have a computer prob. -
No, but I have used BubbaJet. It is the bestest so far.

I like their cameras. Nothing else camera wise to compare it to except a cheap Lorex I used, but when I am looking for a new camera, Panasonic is always my first choice. No doubt, the name has something to do with it. I am actually selling 2 on ebay (B/W BP334 and a CF224 Dome) so I can use it towards a WV-CP484. Their WJ-HD316 DVR for example is beautiful to look at in person... just so bloody expensive though. I watched a supposedly 'experienced' tech have a hell of a time going through the menus in a demo though. Little too advanced for him I guess. -
Dis one b cheap. http://secure.ncix.com/products/customerimage.php?sku=15359&promoid=0#jumpimageframe

I am curious what the HDTV output will look like on a big screen TV. This video card I have has dual DVI, but also has a separate connector and a ypbr or whatever it called dongle. Anyone have this type of video card and tried it?

If I remember correctly, this exact same ebay seller had the exact same StoreSafe for sale recently, and the highest bid was around $600 or so.
