  1. you will need to forward some ports through your router to you DVR. those ports are 8080, 8081, 8083, 8084, 8085, 8090, if you are using audio, you will also need to forward ports 3001 and 3005. also, the emergency connect port is 6911.
  2. your problem is most likely your video card. As you have found out so far with AMD, Kodicom is very picky as to what hardware it works with. It seems to work the best with the ATI Radeon video cards. ( i would recommend the 7500 or above) the cards tend to not like the NVidia cards. If you already have a Radeon card, make sure you download the latest driver from ATI's website.
  3. just make sure that you get the A grade copies. most of the B grade and lower really sucks, it just falls apart. The A grade is stuff is good. If you are brave enough to follow the chinese girls out of the store, down the alley and through the door under the steps to get it.
