anyone know an Iview dealer?
-
Hi, Thanks to all of you two years ago I set up a pc based Iview system. Now I am looking to add another card for more cameras. Can someone direct to a dealer online.I am having the hardest time locating one. Another question, I am looking for a good wireless camera to be hooked up to my tv in the bedroom. The camera will be situated in my daughters room approximately 60 feet away. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks in advance, Mike

I am not quite sure what lenses are on my cameras. I bought them off of ebay over a year ago. Are you saying I should be able to change the lens on the camera myself to a 3.6. Also can you leave some links so I can see what cameras you are referencing. Where is the eclipse dealer down here that you mentioned. I appreciate the time you took out to answer my questions, I am new to this and it is very helpful. Thanks, Mike

I live in fort Lauderdale. I think the color cameras will be out of my league. Can you suggest a wider angle B/W that would be more suitable for my driveway. An a B/W with more magnification for my back patio to capture persons at far end. You can look at my cameras here at mikescameras.gotdns.com and see what you think will be best. Probably better off to look in daylight. Thanks, Mike

I currently have cheap B/W cameras that I purchased off ebay. They actually work ok but I am looking to upgrade to Color/night time cameras. I need a wider angle camera then the one I have. I want to view whole driveway and both to the left and right as well. I need a camera on rear patio to have more magnification. I want to be able to identify persons at the far end of patio. Front door camera- I would like to see more of front lawn as well as door area. I don't need state of the art looking to spend $100-200 per camera. I saw the Eclipse cameras that Rory had and they pretty good, Can you guys give me some suggestions on cameras for my situation. See link below to see my setup, http://mikescameras.gotdns.com

I got it back up and running. I had to reformat harddrive and reload software. So far so good.

I had to re format my hardrive and reload windows and reinstall Iview software. I am having a problem with the witness pro program. I am able to view my cameras but I am not able to click on any of the icons or features. I am getting the red circle on all items. When I try and log in using root,123 defaukt password, it does not accept it. I never changed the password as I just reinstalled program. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall to no avail. I contacted Hermin and he is at a loss too. Has anyone had this problem? Anyone have any ideas? I am at a standstill. Thanks in advance, Mike

Can you recommend a good online dealer and approximate price of these cameras. Can you also recommend a indoor PTZ camera for a reasonable price. One that can be used with the iview card. Thanks, Mike

What do you think of something like this. http://www.intellicamusa.com/g4exs.htm The price is $ 139 Thanks, Mike

I am new to all this and I am running a pc based sysyem with the iview 4 camera board. I currently have three B/W I/R cameras which I bought off of ebay. These cameras work reasonably well but I am looking for color cameras that will work at night. I am looking for some cameras in the $ 1oo range. I would like to be able to change lenses because I want a wide view for my driveway so I can see the whole width. What do you guys think of the intellicam cameas? I would also like a ptz camera for the inside of my home? Aany suggestions please help? Thanks, Mike

I am in Coral springs (north broward). How much would the cp1404 cost?

I currently have 3 B/W cameras going to a multiplexor and recorded on time lapse vcr. I am able to view on my living room tv. I want to have cameras recorded to hard drive and viewed both on my tv and computer. I would also like to be able to have remote access from internet. I am going to build a computer specifically for the surveillance system. What type of processor should I go with and what components are necessary? Are there any other cards that are decent instead of the geovision and I_view? The price isa little more than I can spend but if that is the only reliable ones I will have to scrape up the cash. If I have 3 cameras continue to go through multiplexor will I be able to add 3 more cameras with a 4 port card? I am insouth florida so if anyone knows of a showroom or anything in this area that would help me please let me know. Thanks in advance Mike
