My customer has multiple DVRs setup for web access (ver 5.3.) Recently, they began to use the same public ip for credit card processing. A PCI security compliance company scanned the ip and reported this security issue on all of the ports the DVRs are using: Synopsis : The remote web server is affected by a directory traversal vulnerability. Description : It appears possible to read arbitrary files on the remote host outside the web server's document directory using a specially-crafted URL. An unauthenticated attacker may be able to exploit this issue to access sensitive information to aide in subsequent attacks. Solution: Contact the vendor for an update, use a different product, or disable the service altogether. Nothing on eyemax's site. Any help to resolve this issue would be appreciated

Hello I have been given the task of increasing the disk storage space for 2 eyemax 9120 units. They currently have 3 physical hds each. Eash unit is currently configured with: Drive0 232GB Seagate SCSI partitioned as C: (9.77GB), D:(117.19GB) and E:(105.93GB) Drive1 232GB Seagate SCSI partitioned as G: (116.44GB) and H: (116.44GB) Drive2 465GB WD ATA partitioned as I:(232.88GB) and J: (232.88GB) Total current disk is approx 1TB, running XP HOME EDITION 1. Assuming I can install a 2nd ATA 1TB drive, (WD Caviar) and FDISK to make it available as K:, am I correct that I would then run the EyeMaxInitializer to initialize the new disk and make it available to the EyeMax Software? 2. If I installed a 2TB network storage unit and mapped a drive letter(s) to it, would EyeMax be able to use it? Thanks for any guidance
