Arecont AV5100 default IP? Where to find AV Installer?
kalpesh_nikumbh replied to cctvpro2008's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
No way!! Checked the online manuals ....but no information... best way is : support@arecontvision.com Good Luck Kalpesh nikumbh india -
your question is very confusing dear!! you said you have 8 ch DVR....then said VGA out ..SPOT Out ..then sequential..etc.. it all together ????? 1. You have 2 page QUOD processor?? ( Analog system) SOme Facts to highlight about Analog systems.. Switcher is one which produces sequential o/p thro' BNC connector Next is QUAD Processor… it has screen divided in 4 ; so could view 4 cams simultaneously….( some good QUAD have some Picture in Picture etc. features ) Followed by 2 page 8 channel QUOD Processor Then comes Multiplexers: - with 4, 9, 16 Ch with 2x2, 3x3, 4x4 screens; Main & SPOT Outputs Here default programming is Mains o/p gives divided screen, single camera view etc. while SPOT o/p have default setting of sequential o/p where in individual cam’s viewing time can be adjusted…it can be 0 sec.s also (i.e. skip view) In DVRs both BNC & VGA O/P are available but only one can be used at a time (selected by some dip setting) The same O/P Can be used for 2x2 screen or even sequential……… Here I suggest … 1. Mark the Channel as “ Not used “ instead it shows video Loss then your sequence will automatically skip it…. 2. Remove camera from the sequence thro’ the setup.. 3. if such facility is not there …Make the camera view time zero in the sequence…… Further any query …you can revert with the operation manual Good Luck Kalpesh Nikumbh

Axis vs ACTi
kalpesh_nikumbh replied to jhonovich's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
Hi Avinash Good Morning!! & Welcome to the Forum!! Some Point would like to Highlight 1. In case of digit Cameras (IP) no matter it’s PAL or NTSC… 2. It is possible to go beyond 25 fps & 30 fps … 3. You must be comparing the Interlaced scanning technique where in fps depend on frequency of the main power supply (50Hz / 60 Hz ) 4. If the scanning technique is “ Progressive Scan “ then there is no limitation ..here entire picture is scanned in one shoot.. 5. then the fps will be totally software based!! 6. If your application has still images only with very slow motions , just normal surveillance …no matter about fps and scanning techniques….it affects when you r watching recordings of Highly motioned images s.a. highways etc. 7. As said by previous friend …yes for normal surveillance 5-15 fps is OK. Our eye can sense on 18 fps!!!!! 8. But in case of analyzing the Recorded images for threat …all these goodness of cameras come in to the picture!!!! used in Military surveillance AXIS 221 has really good features…but examine your application first… whether you need really such good ? Very good technical info is available on AXIS website …you can go thro’ it!! Good Luck Kalpesh Nikumbh Mumbai India -

IP camera for Sea port
kalpesh_nikumbh replied to si_kungs's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
Fact about 225FD.. This is not a Pan Tilt Camera Dear!! It's a Fixed IP66 Outdoor Dome Camera For sea port..you should go with AXIS233D ( pls. select exact model depending on NTSC/PAL system) It has real beauty in it.. Equiped with 360deg PAN, 180deg tilt 35x Zoom true day night etc... it gives 4 CIF resolution...when why go for megapixel?? they don't give good images in low light conditions & consumes extremly high bandwidth!! http://www.axis.com/products/cam_233d/index.htm you have to go with separate IP66 housing ... AXIS do have it...but is very expensive ( is not so gr8) ...try using samsung / honeywell Housing with small modifications!!! is comparely cheeper!!! Regards, Kalpesh Nikumbh India -

kalpesh_nikumbh replied to jhonovich's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
Some Fact about Wireless Cameras!!! There performance depends more on The receiver used to collect the signal.... I personally used AXIS 207W with a good Wifi Receiver ( having 12 small small antennas ) and could logged on to the camera thro' 6 walls !!!!! receiver tested by me was designed by : convergentindia the same with just another cheeper recever ....was just could manage thro' line of sight....... other problems may be model specific!! My only warry about AXIS is the prices... -

About China Market ..yes! it's alwyas a risk factor........ In india , our market is most influenced with China product just because o f the cheepest product with all decto featurs of famous brand!!! I am even surprise to find so many New brands people talk about on this forum Yes...lead time of such development is around 1 day to some 2-3 months!!! I remeber we have done one small AXIS camera integration with our access software in 1 days time... But do not disappoint ...JUst do it man...let conditions decide the success!!! FREE NVR/DVR software?
kalpesh_nikumbh replied to hawk's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
Hi, Good morning!! NUUO support major brands with there major models... I don't think they will charge you for adding your camera in there list!! Only you have to share your API with them...and your system should have that much share in the market!! If that Europion customer has a global precence ; you can approch NUUO that way also... certainly it's a bussiness deal....you have to directly spk. to them... and should commit certain bussinesss terms and all... i m don't aware of much about this comercials since i m into technical part only at my organisation.. good luck!! Kalpesh Nikumbh India -
