My middle name is cheap

I have used it and never had a problem except it was poorly written. Ever hear of http://www.supercircuits.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=4710 Supposed to be made by Neotec(?) but I can't find their website. It has a web based GUI built on chip. Looks good, but I'd like to see if anyone has given it a test drive.

You have to pay for everything extra with an account through them. I will wait until Linux is able to run on a desktop (when stable) -

Windows 3.1 -
If it for your house, go to ebay.

Have you seen the new Security Cameras Direct Catalogue? Their DVR prices are dropping. It looks like there is going to be a trend of companies aiming for the home user's wallet and understandability (is that a word?). I am seeing it in all the Trade Mags.

Check your PM.

Want info to go lookie see?

I think that's where it is going, a vcr in every home, a dvd in every home and now a DVR in every home...here it comes.

Only way to truly see what is really happening, is to go out there at night and try different angles.

Very rare I do alarms either. Mostly putting then in to arm something temp, like a trailer when a site or area is under construction. Then they throw them out.

I don't call anyone. I hook up my laptop right to it. There is more options that way then programing through the KP.

Best way into Ademco stuff, is through "Compass". Being able to access "my webtech" on the Honeywell site helps alot too.
-
Have you tried throwing some light on the area, it did wonders for my situation.

Yeah, but sometimes customers come up with some crazy schtuff they want the system to do...funny thing tho, it can be done (sometimes). Had it happen today at a government install... still scratching my head.

Ever try calling a Distributor (the people that sold it to you) for Tech support? No offense, but morons (and we buy from well known, reputable distros). They tell you to call the MANUFACTURER-so I keep THEIR numbers on speed dial, not the hard working distros number. P.S. I know what parts for my cars cost…I HATE getting RIPPED OFF!

Drink me another pour, again? Me thinks I will drink me another pour too. CCTV_Australia, sounds like you need to stand up a bit more and speak your mind.
