Have you ever wanted a Windows CD that would install Windows by automatically putting in your name, product key, timezone and regional settings? And have it merged with the latest Service Pack to save time? Followed by silently installing all your favourite applications along with DirectX 9.0c, .Net Framework 1.1 and then all the required hotfixes, updated drivers, registry tweaks, and a readily patched UXTheme.dll without any user interaction whatsoever? Then this guide will show you how you can do just that! http://unattended.msfn.org/

Some comments. I would like the Dealers here to feel comfortable and I don't think it is fair that the competition and Manufacturers to view without registering. At least when the LURKERS register, you can grab their IP and see who they are.

Here is a shot of rory focusing a camera.

Because it is you. Are you Union?
-
Well, since hard wire/fiber is not a consideration, then there is only one other way, wireless. I have/do install wireless networks but have never installed IP based cams. I am sure there a few around here that can help you out.

Yep all floating. That is the only they would le them do it legally.

If he/she (the Client) is serious about this commitment to the well being of his investments, do not economize on the equipment. Go with well known equipment on the DVR’s. GE, Bosch, Sanyo or Panasonic (I might have missed one or 2). Highly recommend Sanyo-won’t break the bank and a good solid unit. I think MetzLyov has some decent prices on these and their warranty is second to none. As far as Cameras, use the same, good solid Cameras. You really have to be there to see exactly what the Client wants monitored to determine the type of Cameras to use.
-
Is price a factor?
-
The professional sales peeps you 2 are, work it out!
-
MetzLyov, where are you going? No one is going no where. Let us thicken our skins a bit.
-
WHAT? No more CCTV_Australia and the rory show? Don't you go anywhere, mate.

You will soon see the DVR built into each cam. -
I hadn't seen any statements on pricing from Casey, so I understood it was not a factor. I wouldn't trust CAT 5 with 24 voltage, it WAS NOT designed to carry it. Now, I am not saying you haven't had success in running Cat5e instead of Siamese, but if I had a choice, it would be Siamese hands down.
-
Features the Client is looking for (other than wan view)?
-
Split DVR's. One in Bldg A and one in Bldg B and run cat 5 between them. (Most economical way).
-
'Sounds' like a condescending tone, in my humble opinion. But then again, it would probably come across as "constructive criticism" when face to face.
-
Oh, and they are 540 TVL. Crisp during day.

Like pulling teeth-try getting some bandwidth (a very large amount-with wireless) from an IT Guy, from his network. I think I will wait for wireless cams to "eat" less and become more secure (i.e. next generation or so). JFK, LaGuarda, Islip, Dublin all hard wired. Just a few I have/do work at. IP cameras would be a hard sell to any company that has the Government involved. -
CCTV_Australia, don't forget to write. You offer too much to the forum, stay. Rory, yes, but hadn't tried a filter. MetzLyov, the models are: 1 1462/20 3 1461/20 7 1462/21 Throw a number at me and I will box and send. I have a few Sony CD73V. I will hook up this weekend and you will see the difference in quality.

Now why would you run Cat5 in bare walls? It makes no sense. Throw some siamese in there, crimp some BNC connectors on there, and done. Cat 5 is for phone/data. Stay away from "balloons" unless it is a last resort.

I stand corrected and I appologize. Just realized the topic is "EUROPEAN WEBCAM".

Bosch IP Camera solution
DataAve replied to ipProTech's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
I hope they make them better than those "NoSense" cams they have. -
Ask me, and they should mow the city down and start to build N.O. elsewhere.
-
Both of my GE Security DVMRE16CT's have MADE IN U.S.A. stamped on the bottom.

NightSense is NoSense. These cams have a nice day image, but at night, forget it. First, I tried with just street lighting, grainy (NightSense on then off). I ran electric then installed "white" lighting, NightSense on and NightSense off. Same effect. Cameras are very bad. Anyone want a deal on 12 of these dogs?
