Very easy, beam clamps and threaded end pipe, both can be had in their stores. -
If it is top of the line, what relevance would where it is made, make? Use the French brand DVR-a monkey with binoculars sitting the roof.

Crimp. Where are you getting power from?

If I have a slip stream version of XP (SP2 Slip Stream) can I install it legally? Meaning, it is stripped down to the bare bones. I own a few valid WinXP Pro Licenses.

Does anyone know what these concave lens type clear covers are for in the box? I never heard of them.

Intermittent transmission problems

If the cash is not available and your butt is on the line, have them put in BNC connectors. Let us know how you make out. -
They are out here near me. I have never heard of them.

Did a couple of fiber runs today and it was spec'd out with this crap called MaxCell. It is material with drags in it, that you run through the PVC. Well, our runs were like 3/4 miles a piece underground to a second story building. This stuff is supposed to be the best thing since sliced bread...HORSE HOCKEY. It caught the fiber around 1/2 mile at one pole and at the very end (splice box) at the other. We had to tie the crap to the hitch on the bucket truck (MaxCell has 2500 lb. pull to it) and back it out with one of our drags to it and rerun it. I am just hoping it hasn't damaged any fiber strands. What until they get that bill.

...another engineering marble. It was a County Job...that is what they wanted. Try talking to one of these stiffs to tell them that isn't going to work. It is all about getting paid off. Heck, might even be the Project Managers nephew that owns the company.

Here is specs and some pics. Forget about it. The only good mouse trap is the original...snaps the neck. http://www.maxcellinnerduct.com/Products/4%20-%203.htm

Just installed miniature video fiber transmitters. We finished up a college a couple of months ago and they wanted to expand. We had suggested to put cams to cover the entrances of the 4 dorms initially, they decided not to. They didn't want to make the students feel like they (the college) were invading the student's privacy. It is actually a selling point when Parents see them-the dorm buildings are away from the college buildings. I ran the extra fiber/coax for future use anyway. We used these little puppies and they fit right in the housing. They worked beautifully. Fiber Options S700VT-MST. They run about $100 US. The fiber install was pre-existing, because it is a Technical College. We tapped right into the channels on their system. Here is some info: http://www.ge-consultantlink.com/Docs/s700vt_mst_series_prd.pdf

Also, you shoud have run Fiber, because now it will cost you-but that is niether here nor there. There should be no need to go from rg11 to rg59. I never heard of such a thing-unless he had wire he wanted to off. Sounds as if you are in need an honest company. -

Tell them to use BNC connectors (the crimp type). You can get a RG59 to RG11 connector. Soldering (cctv cables) went out with the horse and buggy. -

Miniature Video Transmitters
DataAve replied to DataAve's topic in Video Transmission/Control Devices
Never used gloves, face gear etc.. for fiber. Just DO NOT look into the fiber end and you will be fine. I DO NOT touch the glass either. You can get a glass slither into your skin (like a wood splinter) and I have "heard" if it travels to the heart, you're in trouble. I have gotten one caught in my finger, but I got it out. In order to test the fiber, we have an apprentice look into the connector end, when he goes blind, we know we made a good connection (running joke). -

Nope, just a BNC barrel to tie together.
