Who eats at a show, especially in NY. Walk upstairs and outside. Same price, better food. You could have gotten a dirty water dog.

DataAve replied to scottj's topic in Video Transmission/Control Devices
Hey rory, I'll trade you a GE DVMRE-16CT-600A (I have 2) for a 16 channel DSR-3716 (cheetah). -
Go to any Post Office and you can see their mug shots on the wall.

scott, I'll ask around the shop on Monday. I saw them somewhere on a service call, but I don't recall where. -
I'll call or stop in. I'd like to see the progress.

Wiring Camera to a 12v DC distributor
DataAve replied to JPA's topic in Installation Help and Accessories
When they say it doesn't matter with AC, that is false-well, some truth in that. If you wire a camera a certain way, Black to black, red (white) to red (white), then you should wire all that same way. Stay consistant with your polarity. Otherwise, you will be prone to jumping pictures or lines running accross your screen. -
Plenum ceiling does not mean you need Plenum wire. Plenum ceiling only means it uses the air space above the tiles for conditioning the air below. Lift a tile and it is always cool up there. Plenum wire is fire rated and use only if the Specs call for it. The jacket on the Plenum is weaker and more prone to tearing when pulling (also knots up easier).

How about this instead of using a Power Supply

Agree. Might as well prepare your computer to be a toaster. -
Did you get to "ride" Sam's new Standalone DVR? Thanks for the call too. How long it take you to get home? Makes ya want to visit NY more often.

Sometimes DC does not matter either. You really have to read. Good cameras will tell you. -
Don't forget that really bad attack in 504 AD?
