home cctv footage within the law?
Transportcctvsolutions replied to john3565's topic in General Digital Discussion
If in the UK for home use a CCTV notice to show you are recording images maybe used to inform public. Also a pan tilt as previously mentioned is a good idea. Discuss with neighbours to inform them what is happening and that you maybe intruding across premises. If in UK and still unsure you can contact the Information Commisioners office who will confirm your rights. -

Also the 2008 edition of the CCTV Code of Pratice (UK) may assist. Can forward a copy if anyone would like it. -

Mobile DVR Recommendation
Transportcctvsolutions replied to Daryl733's topic in Digital Video Recorders
Sorry Thomas. Just would like to help. -
Trans Vu. I have a lot of experience with this unit. Units upto 16 camera's with different size HDD's. Images/Raw data can be transmitted via wireless. Has GPS. The background raw data has brakes, indicators, speed, GPS location and a G sensor. Has Net Vu observer viewing software which can be used with any DM Product. Most stable unit we have come across. Ruggerdised for Transport/mobile use. Unlike some mobile DVR's the HDD is of the 2 1/2 inch variety not the 3 1/2 in some DVR's. Found the DVR's with 3 1/2 HDD can become unstable. Other companies to look at: Integrian (Innovonics) Verient Hope this helps.

Mobile DVR Recommendation
Transportcctvsolutions replied to Daryl733's topic in Digital Video Recorders
Might be a little late with this but I am sending just in case. Plenty of units that can do this. Looking for a solution with at least 8 camera's which I presume would download images/raw data via wireless when vehicle returns. As well as March look at: Ad Holdings (Dedicated Micro's) Trans VU Integrian TC50 Verient MDVR Timespace X200 Just a few to get on with. Need any further help let us know. -
Thanks Stewart
