It all depends on the camera specs.Some manufacturers say that their cam does well in low light,but YOU have to actually test the cam in your environment.Many have been disappointed!

He's right on.It's also known as liquid tight.I've used it a bunch as an electrician.Box cam with proper enclosure,seal tight flexible conduit,connectors and all weatherproof junction boxes and you should be good to go.
