Anyone have any dealings with this camera? I'm interested in this dome but can't find any actual reviews on it.

Well i guess this is one of the things we learned about this cam in actual service.

Is this due to the lack of ir cut?

I'm looking for an indoor dome to place in a living room that can easily record to NAS if triggered by motion so that the owner will get a text/mail on smartphone then can log into camera and NAS.Is the Dahua software reliable for this?

The only thing that bothers me about the AVTECH push series cams is no offer of poe. I looked at there dome poe cams, and only one of them are listed as outdoor and that's the AVM521A.

IPC interface? Internet Protocol Command?

So once the camera writes to the sd card, it will then send an e-mail to the homeowner.Which in turn how does the homeowner view the footage from the sd card via their smartphone?

IC Realtime are relabeled cams like most.Do a little goggle searching to verify exactly what you're getting.

Mobotix makes great cams, but they're out of the price rangemfor the average residential customer.

Can you turn the ir off on the interface? I'm like Shockwave and don't like ir in a dome, but i was posed the question of," If the power where to be cut or go out,with having the cams on backup power, wouldn't you want the ir to kick in?" Not everyone wants external ir housings placed around their property plus the added cost.

I think it should be okay.Remember the camera running will create it's own heat.

I think i can really sell my customers on the built in poe.One less extra piece.There are a lot of people whom want the all in one solution instead of having different pieces around the install.

Since your customer already stated no more analog cameras, why not just convert them over to ip slowly with a hybrid recorder and call it good?

That definitely looks like ir bleed. Maybe the foam that you added didn't seal all the way around. Even the most minor ir bleed will make the view look like crap!

I'm still searching for an authorized retailer, so that i can purchase these cams independently instead of from a place like Costco.

As much as i hate built in IR, i'm wondering if this dome camera is better than the Dahua IPC-HDB3200C? as far as image quality, software support, etc. I could probably disable the IR.

How are those HDBW's performing with the ir?
