For those of you who have kept up with this thread. I know what the issue is. Panda Titanium Antivirus software issue. After uninstalling the software everything works fine. Now update your notes incase this happens to any of your clients. P.S I will be switching my username from: Security Solutions to: Automated Surveillance. Thanks Mo -

Thanks for the help Rory, However speed is not an issue. Even when I try to connect to the actual Geovision demo systems I get "Server Close!!" message. http://geovision-japan.dipmap.com/ http://webcam.geovision.com.tw/ http://geovision.dipmap.com/ try these links and see if they allow you to login User: Guest PW: (none needed) -
Hello and thanks in advance for any help. My clients are able to access the Geovision webcam. The "viewer" is available. However when the client presses "play" and inputs thier username and password a dialog box error message states "Server Close" I am not using DMIP, I am using the DDNS Service so that is not an issue. Ladies and Gentleman, I am in need of a reliable supplier. I’ve been working with someone but as of late, Things have not been working out. Right now I have 3 jobs on the table with no reliable way to get equipment. Currently it looks like I’m going to need approximately 40-50 cameras within the next month. This is an upstart business that I have been working on for the last 6 months, with only 5 jobs under my belt so far. I’ve been working my marketing plan for the last 2 months and work is finally starting to drop into my lap. Feel free to contact me: Mo@AutomatedSurveillance.com. Thank you in Advance.

My bet is Missouri. Anyone giving odds? I also lived in St. Louis, Mo. for a year 2003-2004. Direct Tv set me up with a free Apartment and $500 a week per diem. I was a master tech for them for a few years. However the Hacks came in and underbid everyone and took over the industry with thier shotty work. Thus the natural progression from DSS cabling to CCTV cabling. Got off on a tangent there however, St.Louis is a great city with very sexy women and a fantasitc local jazz/blues music scene. -

I'm so glad to have stumbled upon this site. It has a wealth of information and very well informed members. I am new to the CCTV industry however have been working with pagers/cellphones/satellite tv/computers for over 10 years now. I am moving into the field of Video Surveillance. I just wanted to take a moment to introduce myself, because I have many questions and this boards members seem very much willing and able to answer questions properly. I look forward to learning from you all. I also am looking for a supplier of all things CCTV\Wire\DVR cards. Any help would be greatly appreciated. TIA for any Info.
