  1. Hi all, Wonder if you can help. I operate an elevated photography mast and want to shoot video up to 70ft up. Id like some recommendations on hardware and software that will allow me to control the camera zoom etc at the same time as viewing and storing the captured footage remotely, using a computer. I operate a pan and tilt remotely, at the moment, with a still camera.
  2. Hi all, Hope someone can help with this. I want to capture video and be able to control an analogue video camera from my laptop including zoom etc. What do I need in terms of hardware and software to make this happen with video editing and burning if possible. Thanks for your comments in advance. Oh and can anyone recommend an analogue video camera?
  3. Yes Im using an ethernet to usb adapter at both ends, i have just purchased shielded ethernet and shielded ends but am now wondering whether i need to earth either end using the earthing strand within the cable or will just crimping on the shielded ends, ensuring a good connection does the job?
  4. Hello all, Im using an elevated photography set up and have a 12v pan and tilt unit atop a 70ft mast, I have a Canon 40d at one end and a Laptop with Canons utility open at the other. My problem is that I can take a couple of shots at the most but as soon as i power up the pan and tilt unit, the utility shuts down on the laptop. I have tested everything away from the pan and tilt and it works fine but as soon as i introduce it within 5 ft of the camera the utility closes. Anyone got any ideas how I can overcome this problem? Many thanks. Andy
  5. Hi all, Bit new to all this so really appreciate any advice. I am putting together an elevated photography business and i am looking for a reliable 12v pan and tilt unit and controller, with joystick. Ive seen a cheap Mustang 12 pan and tilt head and wondered if u know what controllers are compatible with it. Failing this are there any 12v pan and tilts on the market that will do the job with controller. Im in th UK.
