Gotta Stop started following Generic PC DVR..., Diginet pda and Tmobile, kodicom diginet on vista problem? and and 4 others
-
Having a problem connecting Diginet 4.13 pda using Tmobile. It seems Tmobile uses port 8080 for their internet proxy which I think is conflicting with Diginet pda software which uses port 8080 to connect to the server. I am using a HTC touch pro 2. Is there any settings i can change to get connected???

click on the desktop shortcut for diginet and open the properties. Check the compatibility mode for winxp and under settings disable the desktop composition. -
Error Running 2 Kodicom Diginet PC-DVRS in one network

The ports you changed were for the center program. For the web based server you need to change the port settings in Apache. -

KODICOM: more than 16 cams 2 server in 1 network/router
Gotta Stop replied to jay2005's topic in DVR Cards and Software - PC Based Systems
The center software will only allow for one port address. Changing the port in the center software requires a reboot of the computer. With that in mind you can connect 1 server with the center software and one with the web server. The new center software will allow up to 32 cams but you must connect to multiple servers and they have to have the same ports open, so they will have to be in back of different routers with different ip's. -
Need screenshot of desktop ftp'd every minute - doable?

You might try a old copy of ivista like 3.1 . Its a webcam program that will transmit the desktop. Install it without selecting a capture card and set it to a different port that geo. -
Kodicom Site & Centre

First of all koditec is not the same of kodicom. On your sites router open ports 8080 to 8090 and 3001 to 3005 . You can download a manual from hdvr.co.za. Go to suport and get the pdf for the (Hyundai DVR) which is a Kodicom. You can also download the pda program and 4.13 center from this sight. -

VIA CHIPSETS ARE INCOMPATABLE WITH DVR CARDS THAT USE THE HINT PCI BRIDGE CHIP USED ON CARDS WITH MORE THE ONE CONEXANT CHIP. THATS WHY THE GEO 600 WORKS AND THE KMD 4400 CRASHES. -

DONT USE A MB WITH VIA CHIPSETS ON A DVR BOARD WITH MORE THEN ONE CAPTURE CHIP. DO A SEARCH ON THIS FORUM FOR KODICOM AND VIA. -
Im using a samsung i700 pda phone on the verizon wireless network. With the Kodicom I am getting about 3 or 4 fps full screen while the Geo will get 1 fps on the standard size. On a network the Geo does better but full screen kodacom flips the screen and retail the aspect ratio while the Geo is distorted. I do like the Geo PTZ on the pda.

The port is set by default to 80 but can be changed during the webcam setup. The frame rate on the Geo pda sucks as compared to other pda programs such as the one that comes with kodacom. I have also had problems with the aspect ratio when enlarging the picture with Geo.

is there any way to have two diginet servers behind a router and have the remote software connect without resetting the ports in the remote software and rebooting?
