Yes, I am referring to places that filter the mentioned ports. From your reply, this is bad news for anyone that wants to remotely monitor their system and happen to be with their laptop in a hotel or at a hot spot somewhere on the road. I was hoping that there would be (even if is a paid host service) but something out there that once you are on the internet that you can go to and remotely view your system in some form or fashion.

Are there any bullet type VF lenses out there that can be zoomed via card/pc? thanks for any input on this.

I am using a GV-800 card. My question is in regards to the list of supported PTZ cameras the manual lists. Is using a PTZ that is not on the list completely out of the question or do I have some options. If I do, what are they?

I have purchased the GV-800 and would like to know if the real time remote surveillance viewing with this package is possible and if not, what else do I need. What is it that I do not get with this GV-800 that the other much more expensive cards have? Last. I have not read the pdf manuals on the disk yet, but is there a basic guide anywhere (a link ?) to setting up for remote live viewing. thanks in advance and best regards.

In another thread and in response to a question regarding combo card vs . gv 800. "If you want real time LIVE video then you will need the combo card." What does that quote mean? Is that in the remote live viewing case?
