cif means the size of the video, one quarter of the screen size usually. and frame like FPS FPS25 is real time.

you could check with I-view Dsecur, which i bought recently, pretty good. compare to the aver nv5000.

You don't really need to develop your SDK, it takes a lot of time and work. some DVR manufacture has already intergrate their DVR with POS or biometric access control . For exsmaple: I-view Inc. -
if you want to know if the balun can avoid inteference or not. just install it in elevator, if the enviroment not good, it will have wavelet on the screen.
