First thank you for your help.... ok.. 1) I can see the camera via yoosee app, camera was added by the software, the NVR can also "see" it in the list but it wont connect (showing what i have shown you) 2) recorder got 16 bnc inputs incase i need it as a dvr only 3) ranging between 2mp to 5mp depending on the position.. so far 5 cameras, but since i moved from no-brand 30$ cameras to reolink i get better results.. thanks again -

channels 1-8 are analog only (via BNC) and 9-16 are IP cams.. tried moving it around to 10-12 etc... no result.. -

Yes they did... there was a power outage and since then.. problems... ip cameras are connected via router, with mac binding to specific ip's -

Just BNC, no rj45 except for the one going to the router. it's happening to me with all kinds of cameras, reolink, techage everytime it's a different one... not the same channel. -

I'm confused, question about NVR's and IP cameras

Ok.. So i got myself a new hybrid NVR/DVR (8 analog 8 ip cams) and i have a question. Can the ip camera connect to my router, and then the NVR can connect to that camera via the router? (both ONVIF compatible). or do i HAVE to connect the ip camera to the NVR directly? to simplify my question : IP CAMERA --> ROUTER --> NVR? possible? if so, how? i need them in the same ip range? thanks alot!
