  1. That really depends on the type of cameras you are using also. The system can only record the "best" quality of video it is given. We personally use Vicon systems, which are Windows XP based, and allow for an amazing amount of support for networking, Video Analitics, etc. We use Everfocus for our lower-end customers and they run about 3k for a decent system. They are Linux OS based, and reliable as a rock. The OS is actually on a chip, so even if the drives die, the system stays "in-Tact". It's really on personal prefrence. At home, I use an older Intellex DVMS system, and it works just fine. Compare a Dodge Neon, to a Viper. Better cards= better frame rate= happy customers. Cheers J
  2. Hey everyone, My Card: Shixin PG-104 DVR Card Pico 2000 Software The PC Setup: 1.8ghz AMD Athlon XP 3gig DDR Ram @ 300ghz 3 500gb ATA WD Drives Windows 2000 SP4 Server Ed. I have installed and tried every driver on the net, and installed the Pica 2000 software. It wont ever work, and the drivers don't seem to do any justice. I have the original CD, but those drivers wont install at all. Ive tried to use the Eyeline software to see if one of the camera inputs will work, but none do. It will only recognize the card as a 1 channel card. Anybody have any ideas? Thanks Guys Justin
  3. Hello everyone, I've got a question for the group. I have installed about 4 Integral DVX systems. All of them have the 32 Channel Frame Servers, and are running Win2k with what i think is version 3.0 of Master Control. When I FIRST log into them remotely at another location with the 4.3 Remote View Software, they look great (the cameras). Any time after that they become very grainy and look much worse then on the actual system. Anyone have any ideas? One systems' HDD corrupted and I had to replace it. After which it has never looked good. I called Pelco, but they had no ideas. Anyone have some Ideas? Thanks alot Justin
