    Port Forwarding on 10.10.10 ip

Hi Kiwi- Thanks for trying to help!! So for my DVR (GenIV) on the network setup, it asks to enter an IP address, which I have no idea what IP I put here, it says to change the last 3 digits and to use something like 198.168.1.123, so would I put 10.10.10.123?? The port to forward is port 8000. I have entered my mask 255.255.255.0 and gateway 10.10.10.1 and then the HtpPort: 80. As for my router: I have the linksys router, so when when I enter my router's setup page, I go to application & gaming section...i have one port set to start 8000 and end at 8000...but I have no idea what ip to address to put for it and then I have another port start 80 and end 80 and again, no ip assigned. I guess I am confused as to what ip address to put in all these locations, dvr and port forwarding section. Then once everything is done, how do I view everything remotely?
  3. Hello, I hope someone can help me!! I'm trying to view my cameras remotely. Right now I am having trouble port forwarding on a 10.10.10.1 ip address (which is the ip address for my router in my store). I currently have AT&T dsl (in my store) and when I bought my linksys router (BEFSR41 v-4), so I could view my cameras remotely, it did not work, so linksys had me manually set my ip adress to 10.10.10.1 The company that I bought my dvr/camera system from says they do not know how to forward on a 10.10.10. I talked to a few people, even people from linksys and they said you can port forward on 10.10.10. The guy from Linksys says you can portforward as long as The last digit should be below the starting IP address,You can enter 10.10.10.8 to 50. I guess I am confused as to what ip do I assign on my DVR, and after I do portforward everything how do I view the cameras remotely. If anyone could help, it would be soooo appreciated!! Thank you in advance!!!
