Excellent idea DML, as long as the output of the flyback only provides voltage for vertical deflection and nothing else.. Thank you very much for your response Willy

The subject unit has no high voltage but it pulsates when I try to turn it on. Does anyone know where I could get a schematic and parts. Will really appreciated any and all inputs. Willy
