    I also have the same problem, i have to client that are using gv8.3.1 version and i compared the multiview 8.3.1 version to multiview 8.2 and 8.12, i noticed that in newer version consume a more memory space compare the previous versions, have anyone has a solution for these one? Any help and advice would greatly appreciated....

    Hello, i got a question regarding gv1240, i have installed gv-1240 and setup in version 8.2. before i had a problem with 8.2 with a video mosaic and runtime error in viewlog sometimes the pc hangs whenever the operator uses viewlog and after restarting the pc it goes back to normal then after a long wait i installed gv 8.3.1 and then after several days it runs with no problem but now it frequently hangs the cctv server for 3 times a day, im thinking if there is a way that gv 1240 can cause the hangup? here is the pc specification....     hi to all nice thread, im using also 8.2 version, i had an eard drixperienced when i used h264v2 i get a mosaic video in recording with a recording of 78 days in 1.5tb hard drive i used 3 for rec control, a motion detect recording and 720x480 resolution in recording.. to eliminate the video mosaic i used mpeg-asp. yet i think i solved video mosaic, but now my client is complaining with regards to length of recording co'z from 78 the recording now going down to 35 days only, and keep on complaining about the recording length is there a possibility or solution that i can used to have a better compression and yet a longer recording for 1.5tb.. Thanks...
