  1. Hi, I have a Mace CAM66CIR camera, that I wanted to convert to true color day/IR night. It has a Sony super had board camera in it. I managed to fit a mechanical filter exchanger to it, but it was not really an improvement. OK...I had to grind the threaded part off the original lens mount to get the exchanger to go on the camera, and now I need to replace it. Trouble is, I can find all kinds of other mounts, but not the one I need. It should not be all that hard...right? If anyone knows what I need, and maybe has one in the junk box, I'd sure like to buy it from you. Or...maybe someone knows where I can buy one new??? Thanks

  2. I'm wanting to use a Sony EX-view board camera in a project I'm playing with. I tried a super had day/night camera, and the color isn't there, so I want to use separate color and black and white cameras. I hear the EX-View is great for black and white, so if anyone has a used one they can part with for a reasonable price, I'd be interested. Thanks!

  3. Hey, great site! I'm hoping someone can help me here. What I have is a cheap little DV camera called a Jazz. Using PIR motion detection, the camera is set up to record video of wildlife. As it comes, it is a color camera, but by removing the lens and replacing it with one without the IR cut filter, it sees IR very well. However, now the daytime images are very much red. I found an exchanger made by a company, and have managed to fit it to the camera, but it is expensive.. $35 plus $14 shipping, and it takes a lot of modification to use it on this camera.

I wonder if anyone knows where I might find something like this...for less $$$ I have tried the M12-EXM-IRC21 and CCX-EXM-IRC21 sold by Sunex, and that's all I have found. Maybe some day/night camera maker that offers parts??? The lens used will be an M12x0.5 board camera lens. Thanks!
