my software says it accepts a RS232 alarm box....so im just trying to figure out what it is.

I am building a pc dvr and i want to be able to input sensors from doors as well as output for a piezo alarm.

Does anyone know where to get RS232 alarm boxes? need to except twisted pair piezo alarms and door sensors.

Im trying to find out what i need to use piezo alarms and door sensors on a pc based dvr, trigger motion with door alarm and sound alarm on motion. stuff like that. Are there pci boards that take twisted pair and communicate with capture card like that?

Need help finding HikVision hardware, I found Novosun software and love the look feel and options but just need to find hardware that is supported by it. Does anyone have any experiance with either of the two? Does anyone know where to purchase HikVision capture cards? Does anyone have any reccomendations for generic capture cards low to mid grade?
