Hi i am new , i am a yeti, and i am an ameteur, did i spell that right? anyhow my first question, (i did try and search but the search facility doesnt come up with what i type in, for example you type in night vision, loads of stuff comes up i am assuming it looks in the thread itself) but back to my question how do i improve the night quality playback, or does this just depend on the cameras you are using? daytime payback is good , but night time playing back on the PC is complete rubbish, playing back from the dvr is not to bad, but is this a normal thing to have on run of the mill dvr's? i guess your going to ask me what equipment i have? please tell me in general what can be done to improve it. I have an unbranded dvr, 250gb hd, recently switched to motion detection and uped the fps , previously i had continious record going, i am using for example cameras like these Item number: 110300445882 ebay this is one example regards yeti

cheap cameras , and you have adjusted them beyond there capability, i know this is an old post but why not, i came across the same thing its all diy stuff hence why i know about it, the sponge or foam collar doesnt help completely either, as the domes are not like the 3 axis ones you cant push the camera on its angles correctly hence the reflection, buy better camera, those ones you have u can buy from ebay for maybe $20

you sure youy using right software? i have a cop also and it uses something called oh just got mind blank, avviewer maybe or something like that.............. ok i remembered what it was ajp player is the software

compared to? i meant in general, do regard them as diy cameras? or are they not as good as the vanatage or axis dome cameras that i have seen, in general answer would be fine

Item number: 170272149876 i have seen the equipmet above on ebay , its a dual lens type with a lens for colour and lens for night black and white, it switches between them when it gets dark and light, what are your thoughts on these???? i have seen the picture quality from someone i know that bought one, its very very good compared to others regards yeti
