Same story there, neither of the D4's listed there are compatible. It has to be D4e apparently it was a completely different animal from those other newer ones. What I'm thinking at this point is that it's probably gonna have to be pulled from someone's working unit.

I argued with one of their tech support guys all day yesterday. He insists that the only way to get a copy of the firmware is to send it in to a repair center. Now I know there's a copy of it somewhere, companies don't just throw away the OS software for their products, just because the unit is discontinued. Does anyone have a copy of the firmware? New or old? Josh

I've read all the posts about changing out the hard drives on the various DM models, but they all count on being able to find the firmware on DM's site. I can't find ANYTHING on this model anywhere on their site at all. I got it to work with an eco 4 that I have, but this one is baffling me. Does anyone have the firmware for it? even an old version?
