I have just started installing CCTV systems and have been asked if i have any knowledge of dedicated micros, the answer is no i don't. Where can i learn about the products and tech specs of the company.

Im looking for dedicated micro second hand equipment at a good price apart from the obvious eg ebay is there any companys who specilise in this sort of dealings? im into hard drive updateing and software as well?

Im brand new to this forum and this industry im in the Uk and hope what ever questions i pose you can answer. I am looking to set up business in selling the top end spec Dedicated micros products and dont really know where to start i have been told that its good to buy second hand stock and upgrade the software and drives and then use them is that true if so where would i go to buy?
