I was trying to fight again this cheap products that Costco and PriceSmart sell, and the only way was selling too cmos cameras as an otion for the customer, Since that I sold like 300 units, every time I order from diferent distributor and quality between them are very different, some you need a lot of light, other evey thing you see apear to be green etc. How can I find which one is the best, I mean they all say that have 320 lines, the only diference that i found was the db, and I feel doesn't affect too much quality.

I had very good experiences with it, and what's better is that you have a product that n o anyone know, so you can make more money when you sell it. I believe is a good idea.

25 fps is real time on Pal, you don't loose anything -
easy, use modulators , very good solution and low price. Because the Coax cable has a lot of Bandwith you can have a lot of channel or frequencies in, what you have to do is convert composite to RF, this what modulator does, be sure to use modulators that you can choose the channel number, and then leave 4 channel number difference between them. At the other end use a decoder. That's it.

Another way to have a solution for this problem is to have your PTZ camera setup for fixed views, its very easy to do and once you call it remote it goes, fast, and excatly to the point. This is what I normally do, because my customers always complain, and id very hard to explain them why, normally I setup some points before I start to explain them how to play with it. Most of my customers are very satisfied after this. -

Smootwall is a hardware-software firewall, over Linux, it runs on a P II, 64 mb, Instal it is very easy, you don't need to know linux and it handles networking in a very simple way. You can use 3 NIC, and you are going to have the RED who is the WAN, the green who is your network very safe LAN, and the yellow that can act as DMZ but with more advantages, because you are using nat, no one can see you except the ports that you forward to it, which is very easy to do. If you are going to use a Internet Explorer to monitoring your GEO, you should forward just port 80,4550,5550. If you want audio ad 6550, if you want to download files over ftp 21, and so. But if you are going to use Multicam Remot View what you need is 3550 and 4550. You can download Smootwall for free on http://smootwall.org. -
Its a GV600, but the software I did try it with the GV800-16 and it works too.

What he gave me today was the software, and it does work with the originals geovision boards that i have without the s1 chips, the old ones. Maybe they just crack the software, and disable the function of check for s1 chip.

Does anyone know Mintron Cameras, I tried some of these cameras and they work pretty well, but I don't know where to buy them on the USA, same for AVC products. AVC manufacter cameras and other cctv equipment, on very good prices and quality.
