Hi, first time on this site and need some advice. 3 of our cars have been badly scratched several times and want to nail the culprit. Not got loads of cash for a system but need to be able to film in darkness but there are adjacent street lamps. My knowledge is limited to what I have read over the last couple of days but installing it my self shouldn't be a problem with the correct advice.
I need advice mainly on budget infrared cameras and don't know if I shoud use a camera card for my pc or a separate dvr recorder. The filming distance is about 80 feet day and night. I would be gratefull on some advice. Also the cameras need to be discrete so would the infrared be noticeable at 80 feet?
