I currently have 11 cameras and would like to take 4 cameras and run through a quad. I want to install a monitor station about 60 ft from the quad and would like to use a lcd tv due to space constraints. My questions are: 1. Is there an issue with the screen being burned-in? 2. Should I be looking for a minimum resolution or would the following specs work? Features 20" LCD Panel offers resolutions of up to 640x480 pixels Provides a high brightness of 450 cd/m² and 500:1 contrast ratio for vivid graphics Features an elegant panel design RCA, S-video and component video connections and audio connections for inter-connection with a variety of sources Includes an integrated TV tuner and built-in dual 5-watt speakers I can get this tv for $369. or is there another alternative that I should consider for about the same price? I haven't had problems with using for normal display or tv watching, but the images are constantly changing. Any thoughts on the resolution part is 640 by 480 sufficient?

I work for a small company that has high security needs. I am an IT guy which inherited the security duties. Currently we have 4 cameras and a MACE 4 channel DVR. Next week I have another 8 cameras being installed and have been exploring using a PC-based 16 channel DVR. I have been looking at the DESA XL (ruled out DIVAR due to DESA extra features) and the Clover 1600. I only need the 120ips for my needs, mostly concerned with long term storage of the video. Does anyone have any other DVRs to consider or have any comment about the 2 options mentioned? The Clover 1600 seems to be very similar in features as the DESA but half the price. Of course the warranty is nothing compared to the DESA (1 yr vs. 3 plus the advanced exchange). Any other thoughts or ideas would be great? I am trying to learn quickly here.
