you can then do a new process of "dvrnet.exe" or just click on the dvrsite icon. to reactivate the recording. if you want to keep recording you can while using the computer, ive burned cd and surf the internet, its not just a dvr. just tap the windows key on the keyboard and you should get the prompt for startup menu, click on anything you like reminding that the dvrnet will always be ontop and the graphic of the program you are running will slow down a tad unless its a fast computer. otherwise you can still use it. as a computer. i see no wrong as long as the C drive doesnt fill you'll be alright.

If yours is a dvrnet 880 you can do this CRTL-ALT-DEL end process "dvrnet.exe" end process "explorer" run new process "explorer" that'll give you the explorer for windows back up, im sure the installer installed windows xp on it. if you have problemi can probably help with it.
