I have a customer with two fixed outdoor cameras,both cameras are sharing one cat 5 for video and one cat 5 for power. Both cables are less than 100Ft. both cameras are rolling before I replace the cable what troubling steps can I run to narrow my trouble down?

They are 12v are two cameras are on one power supply and the two that are rolling on another.

I will check the cable for twist are a possible EI.And try your first test.

Nice so far from what I have seen.I am 16 years teleco back ground and a few in the cctv which like just as much as the telco.Looking to learn from you guys and and share what I know.

I am really starting to like live video service.If really want protective you home,see if there are companies in your area that offer live video .

Another option would be live video monitoring.
