its really just to keep an eye on the server room, have a few webcams lying about so thought might put them to good use. being a server room plenty of servers to plug it into that are on 24/7 cant remember name of software, will check.

yeah i have an ip capable system in place already. tried that software, but no joy. will give vlc a bash. its run on a server so being clunky isnt too much of an issue

is that software able to output an ip stream? or is it just the usual webcam cctv software? i dont need that i already have a system, just have a couple of webcams i would like to integrate using the same software as the existing cameras

what format does an ip camera output? is it just a video stream? h.264 or something?

Is there any software i can run to convert a webcam connected to a pc to an ipcamera so i can link it up to my existing setup?

any idea where i can get wave-p software 8.3.0.0 i have 8.3.1.0 but the quality is much lower than the later. wave-p seem to have gone bye bye as there website nor email work anymore?

problem was the limited slots in the server, only having one pcie 1x which graphics cards are non existant for and one pci slot which the cam card was in. Since decided to put a pci graphics card in and a pcie camera card, hopefully this combo will work.

do the usb capture devices need high end graphics? i would do linux but there doesnt seem to be drivers.

Help me, im struggling to get a pc dvr system running. Im running a Dell T105 server, i want this to also be a dvr for my cameras all of which are BNC analogue cameras. The server itself has crap onboard graphics but i've tried 3 capture cards none of which seem to work. help me someone im pulling my hair out.

no one able to help? i've tried just about every bit of software on the market, none of them seem to be able to work with CCTV analogue capture cards. Even Luxriot doesnt seem to be able to work

I have installed the card and software, all looks fine except the only way i can see footage from the software is in the settings. on the normal view and playback i can only see Camera mask on the screen and no footage. Any ideas? I've been trying to get some other software to run on this card nothing seems to run any other suggestions? help greatly appreciated as im pulling my hair out.
