It could be the router and its ability to upload. Try to FTP a large file somewhere and see if it can handle it. I currently have that problem with my setup at work. Its a new D-Link router and it cuts out on any upload larger than about 1mb, so I cut the router out and it uploads just fine.

Call up microtek and get some feedback from them! They will help answer all your technical questions too! Like JMAN said, they have a 30 day return policy!

I don't have much experience with GE units but there is a 99% chance that you CANNOT upgrade the unit. The other guys on the board with GE experience will know more....just hang out a little bit longer and you'll get an official answer.

tell them to go ahead with the deal. Tell them to send payment via money order or cashiers check. Then tell them that they need to pay for shipping, 9 times out of 10 they will give you a UPS/FEDEX account number. Then when they send you the money, send them a box of rocks from the backyard! Thats what my buddy did, it was pretty funny. The guy threatened to get the authorities involved.

There are quite a few cameras with analog/digital outputs. I recently played with the Toshiba IK-WB02A that offered this. -

Lets make this easy and just vote on the type of bnc connectors that we all use. That way we can see what the majority of the forum uses. Maybe we could make this a "sticky" if it works out well.
