    GV-Net-I/O card installation for PTZ

bike_rider, thanks for the reply. I got the camera working. My fault, the GV DVR was working so I re-examined the address setting on the camera and it was off by one click of a dial, which was real hard to see. I fixed the setting and it worked perfectly. Thanks

    Manual Needed for Ultrak KDSS00N1

HI, Anyone have a manual for an Ultrak KDSS00N1 . This camera is a few years old but still nice. The company was purchased by Honewell. I called for a manual and they stated they do not support this older version anymore. Looked over the net and could not find one. Any help would be great. Thanks
  3. HI Folks, Please assist if possible. I set up a GV-800-16 running XP. The GV-800 is working well, no problems. I then attached a GV-NET-I/O card so I could operate one PTZ camera and use the relays. The PTZ is using Pelco D format. I installed the GV-NET-I/O card per the instructions and all the in/outs worked great. I then hooked on the PTZ. I checked the "Hardware" setup in XP and determined the GV-NET-I/O was configured for com 3. In the GV software, in the "I/O DEVICE" page I was instruced to select the "port" and "address" but these buttons are greyed out and I can not set them. If you choose other I/O cards they come alive, but not for this GV-NET-I/O. I ignored them and continued to set the port and address in the other areas of the GV software but the PTZ will not move. Are the instructions for the GV-NET-I/O card wrong. Are these buttons supposed to be greyed out or do I need to re-install the card while the PTZ is connected? Any assistance would be great.
