What do the Pros use?
yclin_nuuo replied to destro_23's topic in DVR Cards and Software - PC Based Systems
Sawbones, I'm sorry, but NUUO don't have a live demo yet. You can find NUUO demo videos on YouTube. http://www.youtube.com/results?search_type=&search_query=nuuo&aq=f. I believe the videos can help you understand more of NUUO products. If you want a trial version, you may check out our FTP site. ftp://trial:trial99@nuuo.dnsalias.com/ Three trial versions are available: NVR (english only), NVR (multi-lingual), and Central Management System. NUUO's trial versions is as much featured as the official ones are, except that they expire in 30 days. Please try them out and send your feedback. I list some distinct features here. * Integration with 31 brands of cameras (the number is ever-increasing for sure) * Multi-lingual interface (22 for NVR/DVR/hybrid) * 6 video analytics (general motion, foreign object, missing objects, camera occlusion, lost signal, lost focus), 10 different actions in response to events * Complete product lines (NVRmini for SMB + PC-based NVR/DVR/hybrid for general audience + CMS for giant corporations) to satisfy all kinds of customer needs Please also check out NUUO technical support website for more details. http://support.nuuo.com/mediawiki/index.php/Software_features http://support.nuuo.com/mediawiki/index.php/Cms We are ready to answer any question from you!!! which dvr HW compression card should i choose?
yclin_nuuo replied to buzz427's topic in DVR Cards and Software - PC Based Systems
destro, I'm sorry, but NUUO don't have a live demo yet. But you can find NUUO demo videos on YouTube. http://www.youtube.com/results?search_type=&search_query=nuuo&aq=f. I believe the videos can help you understand more of NUUO products. A web browser is needed when you open up web-based remote live view and web-based remote playback. Since NUUO's web-based live view and playback are based on ActiveX, I'm afraid IE is the only browser choice for you. (but you don't need IE for desktop remote live view and playback) If you want a trial version, you may check out our FTP site. ftp://trial:trial99@nuuo.dnsalias.com/ Three trial versions are available: NVR (english only), NVR (multi-lingual), and Central Management System. Hi all, I suppose the video format of DVR and NVR are all h.264. The resolution is set to CIF; frame rate to 30 fps. And you need to record 24 hours a day, 7 days in total. The minimum PC spec for the system is Total Size (GB, gigabytes): 449.9 GB Minimum bandwidth (Mbps, megabits per second): 12.19 Mbps Minimum CPU requirement: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 Minimum RAM requirement : 2GB As to the choice of DVR cards, I recommend you install 3 x 5008 cards or 1 x 5016 + 1 x 5008. And an IP+08 dongle for your IP cameras. You may find the spec of 5000 here: http://support.nuuo.com/mediawiki/index.php/5000 NUUO support multiple monitors. Please see these two links for details: http://support.nuuo.com/mediawiki/index.php/Triple_monitor http://support.nuuo.com/mediawiki/index.php/Dual_monitor The above is just a rough answer. Please feel free to contact me anytime when you need to know further. Thanks! Yung-chung Lin
